Dusan Vlahovic has returned to form under new Juventus manager Igor Tudor, but despite his resurgence, his days in Turin appear numbered, with Manchester United interested.
The Serbian striker is increasingly being viewed as a key asset in Juventus’ summer transfer plans — not just for cash, but as a potential bargaining chip in a multi-player deal.
Vlahovic, 25, is entering the final year of his contract and remains one of Juve’s most valuable commodities. Despite Tudor’s faith in him — and the benching of Kolo Muani in favour of the Serbian — the club’s hierarchy is set on reshaping their forward line, with Vlahovic’s high salary reportedly misaligned with their new wage structure.
Technical director Cristiano Giuntoli is orchestrating what could be a busy transfer window, reportedly targeting deals that could include the return of Sandro Tonali from Newcastle United, a move for Rasmus Hojlund from Manchester United, and a possible agreement with Chelsea involving midfielder Renato Veiga.
Manchester United Keen to Reshuffle Attack
On the other side of the proposed deal, Man Utd are exploring options to bolster their forward line after a turbulent campaign. Rasmus Hojlund has struggled to find consistent form at Old Trafford, and reports suggest the Red Devils could use the Danish striker in a direct swap for Vlahovic.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato, Juventus believe Hojlund could benefit from a return to Serie A, where he made his name at Atalanta before his £72 million move to United.
The Daily Star added fuel to the speculation, reporting that: It has been claimed that [Hojlund] could be used as a makeweight in a deal to bring Dusan Vlahovic to the Premier League.
Premier League Clubs Circle as Juve Plan Attack Overhaul
Juventus are believed to be open to various proposals involving Vlahovic, with both Barcelona and multiple Premier League clubs showing interest. Valued at around €30 million, the Serbian could be key to Juventus’ summer rebuild as they also await up to €80 million from their Club World Cup participation.
Renato Veiga, currently on loan at Juve from Chelsea, may also be part of a permanent switch should the Blues enter the frame for Vlahovic. A complete revamp of Juventus’ attacking options is expected, with Arkadiusz Milik also set to depart.

It’s no secret Manchester United need a fresh start up front — and a player like Dusan Vlahovic, who blends physicality with technical prowess, could be the solution. While Hojlund’s potential is undoubted, his adaptation to English football has been inconsistent, and a return to Italy might reignite the spark that made him one of Europe’s hottest young strikers.
From Juventus’ perspective, this could be a pragmatic piece of business. Offloading Vlahovic before he hits free agency makes financial sense, and if they can land Tonali or Hojlund in the process, they’ll have turned a contract problem into a squad solution. With Tudor’s trust in youth and energy, this triple-pronged strategy — involving Premier League talent — may define their next era.
