AC Milan are reportedly considering a summer move for Inter Milan midfielder Davide Frattesi, joining domestic rivals Roma and Napoli in the race for his signature.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, the 25-year-old Italy international is expected to leave Inter at the end of the current season, having struggled to secure a consistent starting role at the club.
While Frattesi is likely to feature for the Nerazzurri in the final matches of the campaign, there is a growing sense within the club that he does not form part of Inter’s long-term project.
Frattesi is reportedly keen to join a team where he would be guaranteed regular starts — something that AC Milan, Roma, and Napoli may all be willing to offer.
Napoli have also emerged as a serious contender, with the Partenopei believed to be monitoring Frattesi’s situation closely.
Now, AC Milan have reportedly entered the fray. Gazzetta claims the Rossoneri are weighing up a move for the former Sassuolo man, who may be seen as a long-term solution in midfield as Stefano Pioli looks to reshape his squad this summer.
