Seating Plan & Where To Sit
Easter Road is a tidy four-stand bowl with excellent sightlines. Along the sides sit the West Stand and the East Stand (renamed in honour of club legend Pat Stanton in 2025). The West Stand is two-tiered with hospitality between tiers, the East is a steep single tier that keeps noise in. Behind the goals, the Famous Five Stand to the north and the South Stand to the south are near-identical two-tier structures, each with a characteristic sloped corner cut. Away fans are usually housed in the lower tier of the South Stand, with scope to take the whole stand for larger followings.
Best for atmosphere: Famous Five Stand. Best for families: West Stand lower tier. Best value views: East Stand high rows, where the rake gives a great tactical picture.
Tickets & Pricing
Hibernian operate category pricing. As a guide, advance adult tickets typically range £24–£36 depending on opponent and seat location. Concessions are usually £14–£22, with juniors cheaper still. Category A fixtures carry a premium, Category B are lower.
How to buy: purchase online via the club website, by phone, or in person at the ticket office. Collection fees may apply.
Matchday Atmosphere
Easter Road is renowned for its noise, particularly for derbies and night games. The steep East Stand and the Famous Five generate a tight, enclosed feel, while recent upgrades have improved comfort without diluting the edge.
Catering is broad for a Scottish ground, with burgers, pies, hot dogs, pizza and sausage rolls available, plus alcohol served pre-match and at half-time where permitted.

Facilities
Concourses are modern and functional, with unobstructed views from most seats. Catering kiosks are frequent and queues move quickly. Two giant corner screens aid replays and information. Accessible seating and lifts are available in multiple stands.
Hospitality
Hibs offer two principal matchday options. The Eighteen 75 Gallery & Restaurant provides a three-course meal, inclusive drinks, executive seating, a dedicated host and player visits after the final whistle. The Edinburgh Suite is a more relaxed package with a hot buffet, pay bar, betting facilities and post-match player appearances. Both deliver pitch-side seats in the West Stand and a polished experience.
Private Hire
Easter Road doubles as a major Edinburgh events venue, hosting weddings, parties and conferences, with spaces scaling up to around 400 guests subject to layout. AV support, catering and breakout rooms can be arranged to suit.
Stadium Tours & Museum
Guided tours typically run on selected Fridays at 2pm. Indicative pricing is around £15 adults and £5 juniors. Expect a walk through the dressing rooms, tunnel and pitchside, plus club artefacts and memorabilia on display. There is no dedicated museum, though the tour offers strong historical context.
About Hibernian
Founded in 1875 with Irish roots that remain visible in the green and white, Hibernian are one of Scotland’s grand clubs. The Hibees have won the top flight four times, most recently in 1952, along with multiple Scottish Cups and League Cups, including the landmark 2016 Scottish Cup triumph that ended a long wait. Today, support is broad and local identity strong, with Leith at the heart of it.
Easter Road History
Initially rented, the site was significantly developed after a long lease was signed in 1922, adding a new Main Stand and raised terraces. Post-Taylor Report, Hibs committed to staying and rebuilding rather than relocating. A phased modernisation from 1995 to 2010 delivered today’s all-seater bowl, capped by the 2010 East Stand opening.
Stadium Updates & Future Plans
Two large corner video screens arrived in 2021, while rail seating was introduced in sections of the Famous Five Stand ahead of the 2024–25 season to support safe standing initiatives. The East Stand was renamed in 2025 for Pat Stanton. There are no confirmed major redevelopment projects, although incremental improvements continue as required.
